About the JobWe have an opening for a Performance Team CSD who will be responsible for driving projects, and setting processes within their team. The ideal will advocate for their book of business in the US and partner with product, sales and other internal stakeholders to ensure clients achieve value from our burgeoning platform. The Client Solutions Director will manage a team of Client Solutions' Managers to establish and strengthen key client relationships with a focus on driving revenue, advertiser education & advertiser satisfaction. Success in this position requires a focus on client service, the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, and the ability to provide custom solutions for advertisers leveraging our unique ad product suite. The most successful candidates in this role will have a high degree of intellectual curiosity and thrive in an environment where optimal solutions may involve a combination of "inside the box" and "outside the box" thinking, while incorporating the mantra of a "servant leader" to help those he or she manages achieve their professional goals.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of 25+ Customer Solution Managers to deliver results against set goals
  • Build scalable processes for our growing Customer Solutions team
  • Manage and grow post-sale client relationships with advertisers of all sizes
  • Analyze campaign performance data to offer clients data-driven business insights, while also using those insights to improve our advertising offerings
  • Serve as an external product consultant educating clients and agencies on product solutions and best practices, and ultimately grow existing business partnerships
  • Coordinate with ad ops, product and R&D teams etc. internally to ensure a smooth and successful campaign execution
  • Investigate and work directly with product & engineering teams to help them troubleshoot client issues during a campaign
  • Support and work with the Partnerships/Agency team on pre-sale research and pitch
  • Conduct regular business reviews (account planning) and take a consultative, long-term approach to build productive relationships with clients, in collaboration with the sales team
  • Work to manage custom programs or sponsorships with other departments and lead custom content campaigns to ensure assets are distributed and delivered on time
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of TikTok's features and ad units
  • Work and collaborate with diverse group of internal cross-functional experts and teams
  • Take the initiative and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration from key department stakeholders to drive greater transparency and visibility for team, client, auction, and vertical
  • Refine and drive TikTok's best practices workbook for auction and reservation campaigns
  • Gain trust and understanding with platform clients by bringing subject matter expertise and high level insights to conversations in a transparent and flexible approach
  • Be comfortable with prioritizing analytics, while managing ongoing operations at scale, to drive visibility internally and externally and greater efficiency and scale
    Qualifications
    • At least 10+ years of experience in account management/client services roles in digital marketing - biddable network experience a plus
    • At least 5+ years of management experience in a team of 10 or more
    • Believe that the best way to achieve greater organization goals is to work with those you manage to as a coach, champion, and mentor
    • Experience in campaign management and set up across different tech platforms (auction and reservation experience is a plus)
    • A deep understanding of auction-based ad technology, and how auction-based activity drives within a given client's marketing funnel
    • Experience managing advertisers with a deep understanding of their challenges
    • Experience helping clients/agencies execute custom branded campaigns
    • Experience in performance advertising in a role where you managed significant complexity and scaling challenges
    • Ability to analyse data and identify insights to assess campaign performance
    • Able to proactively troubleshoot, problem solve quickly and escalate through the correct process
    • Excellent collaboration skills
    • Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organisational, and analytical skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders.
    • High attention to detail and very organised
    • Self-starter, a fast learner who has critical thinking
    • Have a passion for TikTok with a positive can-do attitude.
      Bonus if you have:
      • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
      • Experience working with global partners in different time zones & cultures
      • Experience diagnosing and solving technical problems with product and engineering teams is a big plus.
      • Some experience analyzing data using R and/or Python along with SQL or basic familiarity with relationship databases.
