Summary:
Highly motivated and collaborative business development professional, needed to identify, build and validate business-case, in a rapidly growing startup environment. You get things done quickly and efficiently, working across multiple departments. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are accountable and reliable.Essential Duties and responsibilities:

  • Help identify in-licensing opportunities consistent with long-term company plan
  • Build business case
  • Align with internal pipeline for near- and long-term products
  • Serve as member of diligence team
  • Serve as champion for license/contract negotiation
  • Interface with marketing, research, financial and legal
  • Provide marketing materials in support of technology or diagnostic testing, develop medical content and work with marketing communications team to create
    Qualifications:
    • BS in biology or related scientific field or experience in marketing working in related field
    • Advanced degree, (MBA or PhD) preferred
    • Experience > 5-yrs in Bus Development or Product Marketing Management
    • Familiarity and experience in the diagnostics field
    • Excellent verbal and written skills Highly desired skills
    • Prior experience in cardiovascular and genetics
    • Highly flexible self-starter
    • Strategic thinker

        • For this position the percentage of expected Travel is: 15 % of the timeStocking the pipeline in Curative 2.0 R&D:
          Conduct scouting and diligence work as well as developing financial models and ROIs in support of Sr BD Director and SVP Clinical & Medical Affairs, attending meetings (as approved), networking and researching technology & medical outcomes online. You will help to put together the business case and can outline supporting materials as needed. One example of a project that fits is where we are looking at mature technology that has predictive value to support disease prevention and care.Goal: To make a significant positive impact on the health of our insurance plan member's lives.
