Position: Account Manager
Location: Seattle, San Francisco or Sacramento, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago or Columbus OH, Atlanta, Orlando, DC, Newark
Travel Requirements: 25% - 40% travel as required (per diem provided)
Pay: $70k - $80k base; 1st year expected earnings w/ commission : $95k, 2nd year: $110k; uncapped commission (1% of invoice total) This position is designed to both develop new business and support ongoing business within a designated territory, servicing and selling to State/ Local law enforcement, Federal Agencies, and the DOD. A primary responsibility of this role is introducing and demoing equipment and gear to decision makers, as well as acting as a consultative resource addressing customer needs. An intimate product knowledge, coupled with industry insight, makes an Account Manager a trusted and reliable resource. This role travels to customer locations, expertly managing their territory with sights set on expanding billable sales. A go-getter mentality and a vested interest in the industry is paramount. Essential duties include:
-- - - Drive revenue within assigned geographic territory focusing specifically on tactical units with State/Local Law Enforcement, Federal Agencies, and the Department of Defense.
-- - - Follow up on provided qualified leads, as well as develop new leads, with potential clients resulting in virtual/in-person demonstrations and subsequent sales.
-- - - Help clients identify and resolve capability gaps, and then help develop and provide corresponding solutions.
-- - - Attain and convey a deep understanding of the technical products provided by the company.
-- - - Develop and maintain lasting relationships with clients within the assigned territory.
-- - - Manage and track opportunities, client information, and similar within the company's assigned Customer Relationship Management software. Requirements: Military background; Hands-on experience with tactical equipment; Sales background not required, but experience is a plus
