The Clinical Program Review (CPR) Process provides governance structure and oversight for all clinical programs across UHC. The role of the CPR is to ensure UHC clinical programs are data driven and represent our best opportunities to improve members health while reducing cost.The CPR Process is made up of three key components:

  • The Ideation Front Door- a clinical program ideation support and management process
  • CPR Committee meetings - in depth review of each program's clinical model and performance by UHC leaders
  • Clinical Program Monitoring and Evaluation- centralized program performance reporting (score cards) and robust evaluation of select
  • The CPR process is engineered to ensure program owners are fully supported in their effort to create high value clinical solutions and that line of business leaders have the reliable and complete information necessary to make informed clinical investment decisions.The Manager of CPR will partner with the CPR Sr. Manager and the Director to manage, refine and support refinement of the CPR processes. The manger will join a team of 4-6 others to ensure the process runs smoothly and deliverables reflect the needs of our customers - the lines of business leaders and executive leadership.The incumbent will ensure smooth operation of the Program Ideation Front Door, timely delivery of clinical program performance reports (scorecards). The manager will support CPR committee meetings as needed. The incumbent will collaborate with the CPR Sr. Manager to support the Clinical Program Evaluation team. The manager will work closely with clinical program owners across diverse clinical categories and program partners, including the lines of business teams and internal/external program operations teams.You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
    • Work with CPR Sr. Manager and Director to maintain a disciplined process for program operation, documentation, and communication
    • Support continuous CPR process improvement by seeking and routinely incorporating feedback from stakeholders into process and product refinements
    • Manage assigned CPR functions such as the Ideation Front Door process, Program Scorecard production and CPR committee meetings, in close collaboration with stakeholders: program owners, Lines of Business leaders, HCE, the Clinical Analytics and Development Team
    • Support CPR leadership with project plans, progress tracking, meeting oversight and document management
    • Actively seek, address, and anticipate stakeholder and program owner needs; develop solutions to meet them
    • Help ensure that the team follows up with clinical program owners and operations teams regularly to ensure CPR recommendations are implemented (or understand why not)
    • Support development of communication on performance of the CPR process including both quantitative and qualitative data
    • Support the development and maintenance of program management plans including written specifications of tasks, expected timelines, and deliverables consistent with the team deadlines

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
      • 1+ years of project management experience, collaborating with a variety of teams and using data and information to make business decisions
      • 1+ years working in a health care setting, preferably in a managed healthcare company
      • Proficiency with MS, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

        • PMP Certification
        • Process Improvement certification
        • Experience interacting with leaders across disparate parts of a business
        • Clinical background or previous experience in a clinical setting

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900.
