In this vital role you will support the Medical Information capability across countries, support and maintain processes, establish and maintain vendor footprint activities and strategy, collaborate and define vendor supported operations, and execute change management associated with vendor implementation including training on systems such as internal databases and external websites as related to contact center operations. Some travel may be required approximately 10%.This role supports execution and strategy for vendor activities and supports operational and communication activities that will provide inputs for assigned countries; responsible for providing cross-matrix project management support, developing detailed project plans, leading projects, and facilitating meetings; execution and support of vendor initiatives, business process, strategic planning and executing department and cross-functional goals related to contact center management; coordinating internal staff and Call Center vendor resources; managing and oversight of vendor programs and initiatives, operational guidelines; organizational change and training including:

  • Maintain business process and standard methodologies for Intake, processing, and responding to external and internal Medical Information inquiries in compliance with local/regional regulations and company SOPs/guidelines.
  • Coordinates and provides functional training, compliance and audit activities on inquiry management within function and for other functions.
  • Lead Vendor Footprint operation activities, including inputs to MedInfo Intake performance measures, insights, issues, and capability deployments
  • Finds opportunities to increase business capability, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drives regional alignment & functional excellence, including strategies to address individual country requirementsWinWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our outstanding contributions to serve patients. The senior manager we seek is adept with these qualifications.Basic Requirements
    • Doctorate degree with 2 or more years of clinical, academic, or proven experience or
    • Masters degree & 6 years of clinical, academic, or proven experience or
    • Bachelors degree & 8 years of clinical, academic, or proven experiencePreferred Requirements
      • PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO with 4 or more years of proven experience in clinical research, patient care, Clinical Development, Medical/Scientific Affairs, and/or basic research (Other doctorate degrees may be considered)
      • Prior experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development within the biopharmaceutical industry, and/or clinical or research experience
      • An understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the regulatory and legal guidelines affecting promotion of prescription products
      • Aptitude in writing and presenting on scientific and clinical data
      • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, time management, and project planning skills with strong ability for self-direction and ability to lead a large number of sophisticated projects simultaneously
      • Consistent track record of strategic execution in a matrix environment with limited supervision
      • The ability to work in teams and interface in a dynamic environment across corporate functions
      • Understanding of disease landscape and clinical data to enable critical analysis of scientific literature and communicate implications cross-functionally
      • Prior experience of effectively running consultants and vendors
