ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a hands-on Senior Project Manager to lead multiple 360 campaign projects ranging from broadcast to print to digital and everything in between. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the project from inception to delivery, and will be measured based on-time and in-budget deliveries. The role will also act as the liaison between the creative team, account team, production team, strategy team, business affairs, and product team. We don't expect you to have all the answers, but be prepared with a few thoughts on how to tackle the problem and we can work it through as a team. Most importantly - Go for it! Believe in yourself. Be proactive. We'd rather you try and fail than to have never tried at all. Responsibilities * Be the communications hub between all agency team members that may touch an assigned account/project * Manage and be accountable for each step of the creative development process * Proactively guide projects through the internal system * Manage project schedules * Work with Associate Director of Project Management/Creative Resources on Creative team assignment * Engage in contingency planning and recommend solutions * Alert team if a project strays out of the originally set parameters * Negotiate/communicate with the creative, account management and production team members every step of the way * Keep detailed records of the life of a project and share information as necessary * Ensure that agreed-upon agency workflow is followed * Keep Associate Director of Project Management aware of progress on each project and raise any concerns as quickly as possible * On occasion, mentor and manage junior PM staff Tasks * Add projects to and maintain the current status of projects on status reports * Attend and participate actively in all necessary status meetings weekly * Create and manage all project timing plans * Work closely with Executive Creative Directors to determine specifics for creative development on each project and facilitate movement from one step to the next * Set up and run all necessary key touch-point meetings in the process * Manage and enforce a rigorous approvals process * Coordinate with internal project core team throughout the creative development process - ensure that feasibility checks are being done * Manage a detailed and organized history of each project * File working docs onto the agency server * Work with Account and Art Production teams to file Client-approved assets to Canto Qualifications * A minimum of 8+ years of project management experience - preferably from a traditional advertising agency setting * Basic understanding of print, digital, social, broadcast and events production * Must have supervised a staff of 1 or more * Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships * Must be strategic and work collaboratively with executive management * Must be able to manage multiple projects with agility * Proficient in MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat Professional
