Director, Business Development and Partnerships - Southern California (Remote)Our purpose is to make people feel good about data. We hire really smart people who are incredibly curious and passionate about alleviating customer's pain, but also about changing people's lives through how they do their job.About The RoleWe're seeking an accomplished business development technology executive with an entrepreneurial mindset. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Partnerships you will be focused on expanding our Technology Partner ecosystem developing integrations to ERP, Ecommerce, Accounting Technology, POS, and other software platforms. This position requires a strong strategic mindset with a track record of pipeline development, business planning, and strategic negotiations.Core responsibilities* Build, Own, and Drive the technology partnering strategy and goals - defining partner targets, market opportunity, routes to market, partnership structures, etc.* Successfully manage an ongoing target list/pipeline of prospective partners.* Lead, direct and be responsible for day-to-day management of deals with potential partners from prospecting to signature.* Responsible for developing the business case, revenue opportunity, deal structure and time to value considerations.* Collaborates cross-functionally with team members (Business GMs, Product Management, Research & Development, Finance, Legal and others as needed) in technical and business assessment of potential partners in support of business opportunities.* Leads negotiations of structure and legal terms with potential partners.* Provides clear, concise project updates to all levels in the organization.* Drives newly signed technology projects/integrations through cross-functional teams. Holds team members accountable for deliverables and timelines.Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Business or related field of study.
