Curaleaf Holdings Inc; the largest US provider of cannabis and CBD branded products is seeking a talented associate to lead our national sales & marketing CBD commercial business. The Director of CBD/Wellness will be responsible for sales channel management (creation and implementation), prospecting, managing a team of independent sales and broker relationships. This role will be crucial in identifying top-line sales revenue and driving profitability for Curaleaf Holdings Inc's Wellness Business. Our ideal candidate will be a natural leader in Sales Management, with a demonstrated track record of success in launching brands, profitable growth, and wide distribution within big box retail, drug, beauty, and convenience channels. They will be able to work independently as well as within a team environment while setting the standard in KPIs and driving the execution of sales goals.--You are passionate about business development strategies including--market expansion, brand projection, new client acquisition, general awareness about our brand. The ideal candidate will have proven metrics of beating and exceeding sales goals in previous positions held.-- THIS Role could be based in NY City, Boston, Chicago or Los Angeles We are looking for someone that has a proven commitment to the CBD wellness industry and or similar CPG segments, by keeping up to date with industry trends and laws. This position will work collaboratively with selling partners, customer service representatives, and marketing to accelerate revenue growth. Essential Functions (included, but not limited to)

  • Develop leads into opportunities by nurturing relationships, understanding client problems, involving the correct decision-makers, and helping clients understand Curaleaf Hemp products
  • Consistently and efficiently close all sales prospects-support team in this function
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports for tracking sales progress against goals
  • Proactively communicate product and service offerings to wholesale and consumer clients
  • Work with sales logistic team to manage customer orders and inventory for all products
  • Work with our e-commerce team to ensure product availability and shipping timelines
  • Develop a regional sales plan for partner distribution to meet and exceed goals
  • Ensure products are delivered on time and to order requests
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid product shortages with each customer
  • Promote goodwill and convey a positive image for Curaleaf Hemp, CBD, and Wellness
  • At least 5 years' experience as a National Sales Leader in Consumer Product Goods
  • Proven track record in managing and developing large scale national accounts
  • Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment, new product introduction, and wellness products
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Occasional long hours with travel throughout the US
  • Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to plan, attend and coordinate customer-facing events
