Account Manager - Affiliate Marketing - Lead GenerationApollo Interactive is seeking an experienced, proactive Account Manager to join our Affiliate Marketing team in our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office.--This is a full-time position. As an Account Manager, you will be an integral part of our lead generation division, with a focus on driving new business and increasing revenue for the Affiliate Marketing team. This individual will be primarily responsible for identifying and developing new publisher and affiliate partnerships, while managing existing business and creating strategies for revenue growth.Ideal candidates will be self-sufficient, methodical, quick learners, and possess great communication and negotiation skills. Candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in affiliate marketing. Candidates will have a strong, established network of publishers and affiliates, with an affinity towards Insurance and Financial Services-related marketing programs. Applicants must be self-motivated, professional and have excellent time management skills. Applicants must also be able to work efficiently in a small team environment and manage multiple projects at once. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must, as data will be analyzed for information regarding industry trends, optimization of campaigns, and scaling of volume to maximize revenue.Responsibilities include:? Drive new business for the lead generation team that services the insurance industry.? Prospect for publishing and affiliate opportunities from within current relationships? Identify and close new potential traffic partnerships. ? Manage and optimize new accounts from start to finish.? Recognize cross-vertical opportunities between different lines of Insurance products.? Maintain level of familiarity with all aspects of accounts - including marketing methods.? Build and grow affiliate relationships to provide excellent level of support.? Monitor performance of campaigns and suggest strategies for optimization.? Conduct research on industry and market trends, potential clients, and new networks.? Attend meetings and conferences with current affiliates and networks.Qualifications:? BA/BS degree from 4-year university required.? Minimum 3 years of affiliate marketing experience is required.? Digital advertising agency or Affiliate Network experience is preferred.? Familiarity with lead generation and the insurance industry is a plus.? Team player with strong collaboration skills.?
