Job Description:
NEW Laboratory Manager OR Lab Manager Opening at a brand new,
state of the art laboratory that is in the process of being opened
in Southern California! This laboratory is an expansion of a
well-established genomics and molecular laboratory with multiple
locations on the East Coast! This is a unique opportunity for
someone who is interested in overseeing a laboratory from its
inception to being completely operational within a few months! The
Laboratory Manager will be responsible for complete oversight of
this brand new laboratory and will be responsible for day-to-day
laboratory operations, designing and implementing processes and
procedures, budgeting, overseeing process improvement and quality
assurance, maintaining CLIA certification and hiring, mentoring and
training staff. The Laboratory Manager will also be overseeing
Laboratory Supervisors - so previous leadership experience is
highly desirable. For consideration, applicants MUST have a
California State License as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and a
Masters or Bachelors Degree. In addition, previous molecular or
genetics experience is strongly preferred. Must have experience
