Are you passionate in the pursuit of new business and accounts to grow your sales?--Have you built such strong and long-lasting relationships with clients that your revenue growth knows no upward boundaries?--When asked, do your clients/customers marvel at the ease with which you solve their problems and create innovative ways to win for them and your company?--Are your supervisors, peers, direct reports, and/or clients thoroughly amazed at the integrity you bring to every interaction knowing they can count on your word above all else?--Have you demonstrated the analytical ability to dig deep and uncover hidden needs, undiscovered markets, and unique solutions to business challenges that drive results?--Then this may be the perfect opportunity for you!----POSITION OVERVIEW:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The National Account Manager will be responsible for both hunting for new business opportunities and maintaining strong existing relationships with current client's coast to coast.--The National Account Manager will demonstrate innovation and creativity at identifying new business opportunities and solving customer problems through collaboration with internal and external business partners to develop customized solutions.--By demonstrating a strong consultative approach and exerting appropriate influence, the National Account Manager will achieve or exceed all sales and EBITDA/Gross Margin targets to ensure profitability across all accounts. The National Account Manager will conduct themselves with the highest level of integrity in each interaction, building trust and strong long-lasting relationships with clients and both internal and external business partners.--LOCATION:------------------------------------Los Angeles, CA metropolitan areaREPORTS TO:----------------------------Vice President of Sales - North America--RESPONSIBILITIES: --Lead and execute all selling activities within area of responsibility.Prepare and implement annual business plans for both existing and targeted customer.Provide accurate forecasts for volumes and revenue.Meet / exceed all assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and profit (EBITDA) targets and goals derived from a current base of business and the strong development of a new regional and national portfolio.Develop new business via identifying and developing new customers in the geography.Maintain or gain leadership position by initiating flexible/profitable business plans, bringing innovation to product/promotional/merchandising efforts, and gaining additional internal marketing/logistics and packaging support where needed.Understand customer needs and insights regarding their business goals/objectives, how they measure progress, how the company's products and services deliver in relation to those objectives and be able to clearly articulate this to both internal and external cross-functional team members.Build and present professional and effective proposals.Drive customer specific custom product solutions.Develop strategies to improve our products and services based on customer understanding and feedback.Maintain and update appropriate dbase and sales support systems relative to account activity, pricing, new product development, and other similar pertinent data for all clients.Manage the sales, customer support, and service issues for assigned customers serving as the primary contact for all company business needs.Develop and enhance strong customer relationships by proactively identifying and implementing key initiatives to add value for the assigned customers, relationships, and to attain the company's long-term goals and objectives.Implement price adjustments per market conditions in consultation with the costing/pricing department.Be a passionate visionary for the growth potential of the business and the plans to enable growth.Establish and maintain effective working relationships within all departments companywide.Maintain professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.Any other duties as assigned.----Supervise Others:------------------------------------ NoTravel:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------50% or more as needed; up to 10%+ international travel--BEST Requirements to be considered for this role:EducationBachelor's degree in Business or related field from a regionally accredited college or university OR a minimum of 7 years' related selling experience required; MBA preferred.Experience/KnowledgeMinimum of 3 years' experience in a B2B sales capacity within the CPG, Packaging & Containers, Print, or Manufacturing industries working closely and collaboratively with cross-functional personnel including, but not limited to, Marketing, Business Analytics, Accounting & Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Logistics required.A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Key Sales/Accounts Manager, Regional Sales/Accounts Manager, National Sales/Accounts Manager or related position required.High level of communication skills, including effective presentations, verbal, written, and listening skills required.Minimum of intermediate level ability with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) required.Certifications/Licenses/RegistrationNone--BEST Qualifications for Success in this role:--5 years' experience in a B2B sales capacity within the CPG, Packaging & Containers, Print, or Manufacturing industries working closely and collaboratively with cross-functional personnel including, but not limited to, Marketing, Business Analytics, Accounting & Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Logistics preferred.1 or more years' experience selling B2B within the Toys/Gaming sector of CPG highly preferred.High level of financial skills to effectively balance between sales and expenses to deliver EBITDA objectives strongly preferred.High level of understanding of the print, packaging & container, and toy/game sector of the CPG industry, staying current on marketplace trends, technology, and insights preferred.Experience in the development and sales of custom products preferred.Strong understanding of and ability to implement Project Management techniques preferred.Demonstrated success in continuous improvement techniques preferred.High level of self-awareness and ability to react accordingly in various business/social situations highly preferred.----This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate who wishes to sell professionally and be a valued contributor to the next round of growth of a company.
