For more information, visit enterprise.spectrum.com.The Highlights The Sales Engineer III will be responsible for supporting client accounts focused on selling fiber services including Metro Ethernet (MAN/WAN), wave, internet, video, SIP and PRI services to clients throughout the United States. In this role, you will provide consultative presales technical support, working with account teams to develop proposals and recommend solutions to meet the client's business requirements. You will support enterprise level accounts. Account assignments are coordinated with your management and designated account team.What you will doAssess clients' business and technical needsAssist with technical and product presentations, network design, consulting and formal proposal writingSell Metro Ethernet, internet, wave, VOIP, PRI, video standard and nonstandard solutions by working with Network Engineering, Operations and Product teams to develop unique service offeringsDevelop technical responses and strategy for Requests for information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as a member of the account teamServe as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data services and sell solutions and proof of concept designs to internal engineering and support organizationsKeep abreast of new industry trendsEnsure compliance with all policies and proceduresRequired keys for successSeven years of work experience in the following areas: sales engineering, network engineering, data value added reseller, telecommunications manufacturer, carrier network design or customer premises network designFive years sales of experience and/or experience supporting sales efforts to large clientsAdvanced experience with routing, switching, security and CoS/QoS technologiesAdvanced experience with Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), Course Wave Division Multiplexing (CWDM) and Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM)Advanced experience with voice services including POTS, T1, ISDN PRI, VOIP and SIP trunksExperience designing and implementing large (100+ sites) WAN solutions utilizing different technologies such as frame relay, ATM, Ethernet and MPLSExperience in strategic account positioning with C- level managementParticipant and contributor in RFI/RFP/RFQ processYour educationBachelor's degree or equivalent training, education and experienceWhat you can expect Office environment Travel up to 30 percentJob Code : SEN220 Sales Engineer III Exempt 227924BR
