Position Title: Entry Level Drafter Job Type: Full time position Location: Ophir RF, Inc.,5300 Beethoven St.,Los Angeles, CA Work Arrangement: On-site only Job Description: Ophir RF is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Drafter to join our design and engineering team. In this role, you will support the creation of accurate technical drawings, Bill of Materials, 3D models used to manufacture/assemble modules or chassis/systems, manufacturing, and mechanical engineering projects. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and skilled with CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Qualifications: Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, Mechanical or Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology is preferred, or a related field. Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD ; familiar with similar drafting tools is a plus. Experience in Microsoft Office, mainly Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and comprehension of technical/engineering drawings. Good communication and teamwork skills. Key Responsibilities: Create and update technical drawings, bill of materials, and schematics/block diagrams using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Collaborate with engineers, assembly, test technician and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Assist with 3D modeling and printing 1:1 scaled templates tasks when required. Maintain organized drafting documentation, revision control, Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing (GDT), Engineering Change Order (ECOs) and drawing standards, such as ANSI, ASME Y14.5-2018. Revise documentation based on redlines, markups, and design changes.
