The Field Service Engineer will provide technical support to assist
group computer system users. Answer questions or resolve computer
problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote
location. May provide assistance concerning the use of computer
hardware and software, including printing, installation, office
productivity, electronic mail, and operating systems. They will be
responsible for assigned jobsite mobilization and demobilization as
assigned by the Regional Manager in their region. All of these
responsibilities will need to be performed in a highly professional
manner.
Position Details
What You'll Do:
--- Install, troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, peripheral
equipment, and voice and data connectivity for all jobsite and
corporate systems within their region;
--- Perform Jobsite Mobilization and Demobilization as
required;
--- Install and support company standard software applications as
needed;
--- Participates in team projects that enhance the quality and
efficiency of IT services as directed by the Regional Manager;
--- Perform minor hardware upgrades and repairs such as installing
memory or batteries;
--- Work with customers proactively to address and resolve service
requests and/or to gather information necessary to resolve service
requests from inception to completion;
--- Communicate with other IT team members and customers to resolve
issues and expedite work;
--- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees to
facilitate productivity and continued improvement including IT team
members, customers, partners and suppliers;
--- Handle irate customers in a professional and courteous
manner;
--- Track all assigned work in the IT Service Management system as
required by current policies and procedures;
--- Be responsive to customers' service requests;
--- Willing to work during non business hours, including weekends,
holidays, early mornings and late nights, which will include travel
local or distance, when necessary;
--- Effectively determine when to escalate a task to the next tier
of support.
We're Looking For:
--- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to
effectively communicate with appropriate parties
--- Ability to understand technology processes and tools and
utilize them to improve on all our technology efforts
--- Minimum of 2 years technical support experience
troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing PCs, Printers and
Peripherals
--- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012 and 2016 a plus
--- Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft
O365 Products
--- Construction-related industry experience a plus
--- Excellent Customer service skills a must
--- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical manuals,
alerts, periodicals, technical procedures. Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from users, managers,
and customers.
--- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
--- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
--- Requires regular contact both inside and outside the
company.
--- Able to project professional image for the company in person
and over the telephone
--- Requires the ability to work independently towards general
results, and to devise new methods and meet new conditions for
involved/complex jobs.
--- Tasks involve operation within the overall business philosophy
and strategy. Requires continuous use of independent judgment,
initiative, and ingenuity in a wide variety of very complex
issues.
--- Ability to safely move large (> 100 lb) equipment.

Salary Range
Annual Salary Ranges: 62,215 to 93,265
