Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities

• Developing server-side application logic in JavaScript for Node.js to power integration with identity
• Deliver working features at the end of every sprint
• Build web-based front end experience for user identity journey
• Implement new features for existing backend systems
• Triage and fix bugs
• Developing reusable, testable, modular code and utilizing design patterns
• Implementing automated testing and unit tests
• Creating database schemas to support new API features and integrations .
• Integrate with RESTful services
• Participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with product and project team members to ensure timely delivery of quality releases
• Contribute to planning and assignment of development tasks for the teamQualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a JavaScript developer with a strong knowledge of Node.js and React
  • Proven experience working in Agile software methodology
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or applicable work experience
  • 3+ years experience developing, releasing, and maintaining web-based consumer applications
  • Experience integrating with various data sources and databases.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services features and products, including DynamoDB, Neptune, Lambda, Kinesis, SQS/SNS.
  • Experience with React Native.
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Experience with JSONAPI.
  • Strong CS fundamentals, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers and environments.
  • Familiarity with security guidelines and secure coding practices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD build and deployment practices
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment - provided by Dice
