b"The Mrs. T.H. Chan Division of Occupational Science and
Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California
invites applicants for one full-time clinical faculty position at
the Violence Intervention Program (VIP). The successful candidate
will work with the Division's current faculty members to develop
and implement occupational therapy services and direct patient care
in coordination with the interdisciplinary team and in compliance
with organizational goals and appropriate regulatory agencies. The
VIP is a nationally recognized leader in developing and supporting
quality services and systems for individuals with, or at risk for,
behavioral, developmental, and/or special health care needs and
their families. The interdisciplinary structure of the VIP paired
with the support of the USC Chan Division of Occupational Science
and Occupational Therapy creates a unique opportunity in the areas
of research, education, and practice./nThe successful candidate
will provide comprehensive care to children and youth who require
the highest level of clinical reasoning. Major duties include
consistently performing effective client evaluation and
intervention for positive outcomes, contributing to
interdisciplinary team collaboration through active mentorship of
USC occupational therapy students and OTD Residents, as well as
presentations within and outside of the organization. Must
demonstrate knowledge of current and evidence-based practice in the
field of Occupational Therapy, effective verbal and written
communication, and mature and sound judgment. Qualifications
include: an earned terminal degree (O.T.D. or Ph.D. in occupational
science preferred); excellent clinical ability (advanced practice
in pediatrics); experience working in behavioral health,
developmental disabilities, and field-based services. Current
licensure to practice occupational therapy in California required.
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred./nThis position is
