Job Description:

Project Leader - Digital Transformation (The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. - Los Angeles, California): Lead the design and development of long-term business strategies focusing on digital transformation and acceleration for clients in order to achieve superior profitability, growth and enhancement of organizational capability. Specific duties include: coordinate strategic due diligence related to digital acceleration industry opportunities; execute market analysis and evaluate long term digital solution investment opportunities; develop digital transformation strategies and go-to-market plans for digital innovation; manage case team responsibilities including personnel assignments, research and analysis, and reports to clients; undertake critical evaluation of analytical work performed using advanced economic and financial analysis techniques; oversee business development, team and client management, client relationships, project planning and management; oversee preparation of outputs; and present findings to senior client management.. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent, including a 3-year foreign degree) plus five (5) years of experience as a management consultant or business analyst, which must include at least at least two (2) years of experience providing business strategy recommendations focused on digital transformation and acceleration. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section) - must possess the following: (i) applying advanced economic and financial analysis theories such as competitive cost and decision analysis, capabilities assessment, portfolio review based on financial reports, and experience and scale curve analysis; (ii) conducting advanced analysis of scale economies, seasonal effects on financial forecasts, impact of uncertainties on business outcomes, corporate financing policies and evaluation of factors that influence a companys debt capacity; (iii) developing industry-specific market models to identify and analyze client opportunities for digital transformation; (iv) building a market-specific competitive landscape to assess market viability of business plans focused on digital transformation; (v) designing and developing digital acceleration strategies to achieve a competitive advantage; and (vi) managing individuals, teams, and processes.
