Job Title: Assistant Project Manager – Multifamily Construction Location: OC & LA Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: We are a fast-growing general contractor specializing in ground-up multifamily construction projects ranging from mid-rise podium developments to garden-style communities. Position Summary: The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager and Superintendent in the successful execution of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of construction processes. Responsibilities: Assist with daily project coordination and administration Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders Help develop and track project schedules and budgets Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants Support the procurement process and material tracking Conduct site walks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Help prepare monthly pay applications and project reporting Attend project meetings and assist in resolving field and design issues Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2 years of construction experience, preferably in multifamily Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, and MS Office Suite Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team-oriented with a strong work ethic Benefits: Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth and career development Apply Today: If you’re ready to take the next step in your construction career with a company that values quality, teamwork, and professional growth, we’d love to hear from you.
