IMAX Creative - IMAX's in-house creative team, is undergoing a complete transformation to fulfill the next phase of the IMAX business and the Marketing organization. We have grand ambitions and are looking for the brightest and best talent to join the IMAX Creative team and enable us to realize these ambitions.

This role will play a key part in this transformation of the IMAX business, focusing within the verticals of IMAX Live and IMAX Documentary and supporting on other verticals on an ad-hoc basis.

The Creative Project Manager is the source of truth for any project that comes into IMAX Creative. This individual will act as both the engine and the north star guiding a project from briefing and development through to final execution and distribution. They are responsible and accountable for making the entire process run as smooth as possible for all partners and team members involved.

We are looking for a collaborative and dexterous team player who enjoys wearing many hats and is unfazed by the need to work on multiple projects at any given time. They must supremely organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through and interpersonal skills. They will be capable of partnering with other functions with equal amounts of grace and composure while working under pressure and in the most challenging of circumstances. This role will report directly to the Sr. Creative Project Manager leading this function.

Responsibilities:

* Be the single point of creative truth IMAX Live and Documentary projects and campaigns
* Lead and manage the entire creative project lifecycle from briefing to final delivery: planning, scope changes, creative development, approvals, creative production, material delivery/distribution, and postmortem/wrap
* Work with team members, key partners (internally and externally) to define project scope, including timeline, resources, project hours, and any internal/external costs.
* Own, drive, and facilitate project-related team meetings (kick-offs, status, internal/business partner reviews, approvals etc.), and communicate action/next steps, share recaps to team members accordingly from those meetings
* Route creative for approval to appropriate stakeholders, keeping track of multiple, sometimes conflicting pieces of feedback and integrating it seamlessly into the creative development and production workflow
* Manage, organize, and distribute all project information and documentation, including creative briefs, strategy briefs, status reports, deliverables lists and post-project reports (if needed)
* Lead communication of timelines, status updates, and potential risks to the project team by identifying, and troubleshooting issues/roadblocks with Business Partners, Creative Production, and Creative Development and having a POV on a recommended solution
* Serve as the liaison between the creative function, operations, production arm, internal partners and external partners, setting project expectations and consistently communicating progress; able to identify issues early on and suggest workable solutions
* Collaborate with Operations team to ensure projects or requests for resources addressed during project intake and are assigned appropriately
* Ensure all deliverables are meeting business partner expectations, including adherence to established timelines / guidelines and budgets
* Works closely with IMAX Creative, Live Marketing, Documentary Marketing,
* Exhibition Marketing, Digital Marketing and other internal business partners to understand apply learnings to future projects to improve performance

Requirements/Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Based in Los Angeles
* 8+ years of creative/advertising/marketing agency preferred
* Experience within the entertainment industry (Theatrical, TV, Streaming) is a plus
* Experience working across several project types: print, digital, motion, audio/visual and environmental
* Understanding of technical deliverables across the above project types
* Strong understanding of creative process
* A problem solver who is able to listen, gather information, evaluate the situation, and make informed right-sized fit solutions
* Ability to manage vendors, timelines, and budgets
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize without missing deadlines and work within defined budgets
* Understanding of how to build budgets, write scopes of work, develop timelines and working with project management tools like Basecamp and Mavenlink
* Strong account management skills to interface with key business partners
* Exemplary follow-through communication and organizational skills
* Strong listening, project management and presentation skills
* Impeccable attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Working knowledge of latest Adobe Creative Suite preferred
