Job Description:

Apple is where people do the best work of their careers. Work that has an impact on individuals and the world. Work that is challenging and fulfilling. Work that doesn't always feel like work.

This role is part of the Human Interface Design team in Apple Services, which includes media products, creator tools, cloud and commerce services, and productivity apps. Writers on this team work on feature development and future designs through the lens of language.

We're searching for a UX Writer to create new and better experiences across our services. Specifically, you'll focus on Common UI by crafting, maintaining, and gaining adoption of pattern libraries related to UX writing. You'll work on narrative strategy, concept new features, define and evolve product voice, and develop and maintain interfaces.

* Oscillate between left- and right-brained writing, from storytelling to detailed thinking.

* Think long-term, but act quickly.
* Are comfortable managing and prioritizing several projects simultaneously.
* Deliver passionate and impactful presentations at all levels of an organization.
* Dream about positively affecting the lives of millions of people, and like waking up to the responsibilities that come with that.
* Have an inexhaustible attention to detail.
* Enjoy contributing to and implementing style guides and shared patterns.
* Know and are excited about evolving the Apple ecosystem of hardware, software, and services.
* Are familiar with development tools and processes for various platforms, including standards and considerations for areas like for accessibility, localization, voice interfaces, and augmented reality.

Each UX Writer on the team is embedded within a specific line of business (for example, Music, Maps, TV, and so on). However, this person will be embedded within our Common UI group, working horizontally across all our services with responsibility for many things, including:
