Our client has been continuing to expand their Specialty Insurance Underwriting Division and they are seeking to add a Media Underwriter to their International division.

Underwrite, price and negotiate accounts consistent with the quality of the risk and according to the company's strategy and guidelines

• Proactively engage in marketing efforts to drive new business development
• Handle new and renewal business for both wholesale and retail brokers
• Work with operations, claims, external marketing to build products and contribute to financial performance of unit
• Maintain excellent service standards
• Develop relationships and maintain existing relationships with regional broker base
• Monitor product results and develop ideas to increase results
  Person Specification
  
  • B.A./B.S degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related degree
  • Possess strong analytical skills to identify business needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to negotiate
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment
  • 2-5 years insurance marketing/sales and underwriting experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external customers, including brokers
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Outlook and Internet applications
    Salary/Benefits
