Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading website content development, reporting on cross-channel digital advertising initiatives, and guiding digital front door strategy to support MLK Community Healthcares business and marketing goals. This role will work cross-functionally with marcom team stakeholders to deploy personalized and effective online messaging programs that introduce health system services and solutions at the right stages of each patients healthcare journey. The Sr. Specialist must possess a strong understanding of digital marketing best practicesnon-healthcare, e-commerce, or healthcare technology background preferred including email campaign strategies, and multi-channel marketing automation including push, in-app, and SMS to apply across inpatient and outpatient business units. Work includes, but is not limited to: 1) leading relevant marketing-technology strategies aligned to overall business objectives by utilizing the suite of tools in the marketing-technology stack; 2) spearheading analytics reporting for digital-first channels, including websites, mobile apps, digital marketing efforts to include marketing automation, SEM, SEO, PPC, display, social advertising; 3) partnering with agency partners, vendors, and freelancers to manage projects, and 4) supporting provider and location data management and online listings and reputation efforts.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of new and existing digital marketing initiatives, including PPC, social media advertising, banner advertising, marketing automation, online sponsorships, physician listings and profiles, mobile advertising, apps, and related; manages various 3rd-party vendors and digital advertising platforms as-needed.
  • Working closely with the Director of Marketing, manages web and application marketing strategy across the system, agency partners, internal and external stakeholders, and web developers to ensure campaign performance meets business objectives.
  • Executes all facets of digital campaign production including, but not limited to, creative, coding, segmentation, A/B testing, QA, and reporting/analysis.
  • Establishes a cross-channel, integrated reporting framework identifying key growth metrics.
  • Leads the build of cross-channel dashboards through use of data visualization tools.
  • Analyzes on-site data for funnel conversion optimization to identify opportunities for improvement, including ROI assessment.
  • Implements cross-channel (email, push, in-app, SMS) automated and batched campaigns in our marketing automation platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Monitors and pressure tests CRM campaign performance, identifying opportunities to maximize engagement, conversion and retention.
  • Conducts multi-variate and segmentation tests while recommending opportunities to discover the best marketing practices within each customer segment or user persona.
  • Perform quality assurance on each campaign to ensure that campaigns are executed error free and that the user experience is optimal.
  • Manage the development of creative, copy and content for empaneled patient communications through online patient portal, as needed
  • Employs various SEO efforts to ensure sustained high-ranking on major search engines for MLK Community Healthcare, Health Foundation, and Medical Foundation websites.
  • Oversees the development, analysis, and distribution of various dashboards and reports to key stakeholder groups.
  • Monitors social media trends and identifies opportunities to improve and optimize on existing customer communications as well as scope out new and emerging channels and applications
  • Provides ongoing support for other digital content efforts; ensures coordination with offline marketing content.
  • Performs project management/coordination activities as assigned.
    Position Requirements
    • Education
      Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, computer science, statistics, business analytics or a related field and three years of related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities.
      • Qualifications/Experience
      • 3+ years of experience supporting marketing automation/digital marketing strategy, preferably within an organization focused on generating revenue through website and social conversion.
      • Proven experience with CRM systems and strong understanding of e-mail marketing best practices.
      • Proven experience in search engine marketing, website content strategy, and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
      • Experience designing end-to-end mobile marketing campaigns including push, in-app and SMS is highly desirable, but not required.
      • Preferred familiarity with content management and digital asset management systems.
      • Ability to manage assignments on tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
      • Familiarity and experience with data analytics reporting tools.
      • Experience with a safety net community and an understanding of South Los Angeles preferred.
      • Demonstrated ability to reach goals through teamwork and collaboration.
      • Strong interpersonal and communications skills across all levels of an organization.
      • Must be detail oriented with an eye for overall user experience.by Jobble
