Job Description:

As a copywriter on the creative team at Allied, you are tasked with ideating, writing, and collaborating on the creation of compelling advertising copy for our clients in the entertainment, lifestyle, and cultural spaces. You work on copy advertising in all its forms - creative campaign concept writeups, audio and video scripts, organic and paid social, search, websites, CRM, headlines, taglines, calls to action, and more! You have a passion for identifying unique angles to reach audiences around the globe through creative storytelling.

You are a hybrid strategist/creative/writer/idea-machine who will elevate the agency's work through copy and is eager to form meaningful partnerships with media, strategy, and social experts to blaze new trails and define the new era of integrated creative communication.

You are agile, adaptable, well-organized, and diplomatic. You can be maintaining a big-picture view of our client's goals, but also connect the dots between the minutiae and nuances of individual brand voices and tone.

You will be an instrumental part of a growing global creative team, collaborating with agency art directors, project managers, designers, editors, and content creators.

3+ years experience in a copywriting role (at least 2+ years digital, social or ad agency experience).
Experience working in the entertainment field.
Have impeccable writing, editing, and proofreading skills to be able to articulate even the biggest ideas in concise terms.
Participate in brainstorms and contribute strong copy-driven conceptual ideas that deliver on client marketing goals. Support the generation of creative concept presentations.
Have a passion for great entertainment and content, with a strong understanding of social and creative marketing concepts.
Recognize each of our client's unique tone of voice and aesthetic guidelines in order to maintain brand consistency.
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively and build trusting relationships with a diverse group of individuals.
Curious and thirsty to volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked.
Take ownership of time management and workflow to handle multiple projects and priorities, timely and efficiently within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Join and participate in weekly client and internal calls on your assigned clients.
Assist creative leads in fulfilling copy needs on unique client, agency team requests.
Propose and help implement processes that streamline our creative copywriting work.
Support agency creative new business efforts and the onboarding of new clients as needed.
