Job Description:

Looking for a legal secretary with the following skill set:

• Preparing and formatting pleadings, correspondence, forms, and other legal documents
• Must know how to generate Tables of Authorities and Contents for motions
• File (electronically, via facsimile, or paper file) and serve court documents and related correspondence, memorandum, pleadings, law and motion, and related documents with opposing counsel, local, state, and federal courts
• Serve and format discovery and subpoenas
• Request records via various record services
• Accurately calendar deadlines and reminders for deadlines and keep attorneys aware of scheduled and approaching events via Outlook
• Handle the incoming and outgoing mail for the supported attorneys
• Schedule hearings, meetings, depositions, conference calls, assist with travel arrangements when necessary
• Enter time and handle billing for assigned timekeepers
• Assist fellow co-workers and/or other timekeepers as needed and requestedTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS 2 - 4 YEARS OF LITIGATION EXPERIENCE
