The Job

We're looking for a dynamic Office Manager who will help our organization achieve our mission to use the past to build the future. This role is the backbone to our Headquarters office operations and plays a fundamental role in supporting each department as the organization grows. Our team is nimble, and we are working at lightning speed to create a fashion industry without 'waste.' We are optimistic, curious, resourceful, fearless, and continuously evolving. You are a hyper-organized, energetic, and empathetic professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, and faces challenges with a positive outlook. You are experienced in handling a wide range of office and administrative tasks and can execute results with minimal guidance. You pride yourself on your very high work standards and ability to navigate ambiguity and create a clear list of action items out of vague requests. You value work experiences in which you have full ownership of tasks. Success in this position will require you to juggle multiple high priority requests, be highly intuitive and dependable, and anticipate and proactively address business needs independently.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with department leaders to review operational procedures, identify inefficiencies, define system requirements and goals, and implement scalable solutions
  • Manage system-related project timelines and priorities
  • Anticipate business needs, and provide solutions that are aligned with business objectives and company culture
  • Be the office vibe manager - contribute to and maintain a stellar office environment by managing office design, aesthetics and in-office perks, including ensuring a regular supply of healthy employee snacks
  • Lead new system and technology implementations, integrations and data migrations
  • Provide technology, network and IT support to onsite and remote employees, assisting with troubleshooting and training end users on new equipment and technologies, including setting up equipment for new hires
  • Manage calendars and travel for multiple executives
  • Plan and manage various internal and external corporate events
  • Greet and host guests, manage and oversee record keeping of key documents, such as NDAs
  • Collaborate with the Executive Assistant to manage meetings and provide backup support
  • Anticipate inventory of and prepare swatch books and other customer materials as needed
  • Maintain office supply inventory and equipment
  • Provide an extra set of hands on various cross-functional projects to support urgent team priorities

    Qualifications
    • 3-5 years of job related experience
    • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
    • A genuine interest and passion for creating the circular textile economy, ending textile 'waste', and making the world more sustainable
    • Excellent attention to detail with a propensity to catch things that others might overlook
    • Effective project management and research skills
    • Learning agility with the ability to quickly pick up and effectively utilize new systems and digital tools
    • Strong time-management and organizational skills, able to multitask and prioritize competing priorities
    • Effective written and verbal communication, able to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical audiences and provide actionable, solution-oriented feedback
    • Able to influence without authority, and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels across the company
    • Sound business judgement with an ability to creatively solve problems independently
    • Proven ability to successfully navigate and deliver results in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous start-up environment
    • Able to adapt to changes quickly and navigate through changing work priorities
    • Able to operate with a high level of confidentiality and integrity
    • Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
    • Able to occasionally lift, move, carry, push or pull up to 50 lbs

        The pay range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
