Job Description:

JLM Strategic Talent Partners is a dynamic fast-growing boutique recruiting and talent placement firm specializing in providing strategic talent services to the transportation/infrastructure industry. We are now in an exciting era of rapid expansion, making this an amazing opportunity to grow professionally and become an expert in the industry.We are looking for a part-time assistant to assist with administrative, accounting, and HR duties such as:

  • Sending onboarding documents to new employees
  • Setting up new employees in the payroll system
  • Updating payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and project transfers
  • Keeping track of employee time card submissions
  • Completing employee verification forms
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Invoicing, preparing waivers
  • Collection calls and emailsRequirements
    • Administrative / office experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to learn quickly
    • Accounting experience preferred
    • Quick-books experience preferred
