see for yourself! Under direct supervision of the General
Diagnostic Manager and Medical/nDirector the Radiologic
Technologist (RT) will produce diagnostic images/nutilizing a
variety of radiographic equipment. Fix radiographic,
fluoroscopic/nand mobile equipment following prescribed protocols
and procedures. As the RT,/nyou will competently perform
radiographic procedures on neonates, infants,/nchildren, adults and
geriatric patients. Complete all studies in a timely and/nefficient
manner and produce film images utilizing Digital Radiography,
image/nprocessors and process as prescribed standards. You will be
required to rotate/nto all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health.
/n - Duties include but are not/n limited to: /n - Assist in
performing sterile/n technique procedures as required /n - Assist
Radiologist as needed /n - Follow established quality/n assurance
procedures /n - Maintain patient dignity and/n confidentiality /n -
Patient education prior to the/n examination /n - Preparation of
needed supplies/n and equipment set up /n The RT is expected to
support UCLA healthcare radiology locations in the Westwood/nand
Santa Monica region./nRadiologic Technologists need to possess the
skills, knowledge and abilities/nessential to the successful
performance of duties assigned to the position;/ngraduate of a
Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the
American/nMedical Association or equivalent training, maintaining
current CRT, CRT –/nFluoro and ARRT licensure. *Internal candidates
will be placed/naccording to their Active/Current career ladder
level* Salary: $48.52 - $59.14 Hourly Qualifications Please ensure

licenses. /n /n - ARRT certification – required /n - CRT license –
required /n - Fluoroscopic permit – required /n - BCLS certificate
from American Heart Association or American Red Cross– required /n
- Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program graduate /n - Ability
to adapt to advancement and changing technology /n - Ability to
identify and recognize contraindications for exams. (Radiology
Only) /n - Ability to respond efficiently to expressed needs of
referring services, physicians and patients /n - Demonstrate
knowledge of clinical billing (IDX codes) to ensure appropriate
accounting and reimbursement of services rendered /n - Knowledge of
medical terminology, with ability to distinguish between types of
procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses
/n - Skill in employing independent decision making while
performing various job functions /n - Telephone manners and skills
to handle heavy telephone lines with courtesy and tact /n -
Understand the requirements of the EMTALA (Emergency Medical
Treatment and Active Labor Act) /n
