As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will perform basic/nand complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities./nThis will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy,/nphysiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. Advanced imaging/nskills and techniques would be demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the/nfollowing advanced imaging applications: /n - MR Angiography (MRA) – cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR, peripheral/n vascular/PVMR, and or neurovascular - EPI applications: DWI, PWI, DTI ,/n ASL /n - MR Spectroscopy (MRS) – Brain, or Breast, or Prostate /n - MR Enterography, MR Defecography and MR Prostate with endo-rectal/n coil /n - Interventional MR – MR Guided fine needle breast and or prostate/n biopsies /n - Functional MR (fMRI) – Brain /n - Therapeutic MR (HiFu) – Fibroid tumors /n /n You will be/nexpected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization. *Should you/nnot meet the experience standards required for a senior position, you may be/nconsidered for a Staff MRI Technologist position* * Internal/ncandidates will be placed according to their Active/Current career ladder/nlevel* Staff Technologist: $52.22 - $ 68.84 Hourly Senior Technologist: $54.79 - $72.30 Hourly Salary Range:/n$52.22 - $72.30 Hourly Qualifications Please ensure/nyour resume includes a list of all relevant certifications and licenses. /n - 3 years MRI Experience – required /n /n - Licenses /n /n - A combination of the ARRT and CRT –/n required. MR certificate required /n /n /n OR /n /n /n - A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) –/n required /n /n /n /n - Venipuncture certificate – required /n - BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red/n Cross – required /n - Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program/n – required /n /n - AA or BS – preferred /n - Siemens experience – preferred /n /n - Demonstrates competence in modifying protocols as/n required producing optimal diagnostic images. /n - Demonstrates ability to train additional MR staff in/n addition to performing the advanced procedures without direction/n themselves /n - You will be required to rotate to/n all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health /n
