see for yourself! As the MRI/nTechnologist you will perform basic
and complex MR imaging/nprocedures as well as post-processing
responsibilities. This will require an/nin-depth understanding of
human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,/npharmacology
and medical terminology. You will be/nexpected to support all
imaging centers staffed by our organization. You/nwill be required
to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning/nand
image acquisition/formation. You will be expected to support all
imaging/ncenters staffed by our organization. You will also need to
apply your knowledge/nof magnetic field safety and properly screen
all patients and visitors prior to/nadmittance into the MR magnet
room. You will: /n - Ensure/n accurate processing of radiology
orders /n - Maintain/n accurate up-to-date records of procedures
performed /n - Operate/n a variety of post-processing/3D
workstations /n - Perform/n accurate image archival /n - Prepare/n
and administer paramagnetic contrast media /n - Sensitively/n
handle physical and emotional needs of the patient /n *Internal
candidates/nwill be placed according to their Active/Current career
ladder level* Salary/nRange: $52.22 - $68.84 Hourly Qualifications
Please/nensure your resume and application includes all relevant
certifications and/nlicenses. /n - Licenses /n /n - A combination
of the ARRT and/n CRT – required. MR certificate required /n /n OR
you need /n /n - A/n combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) –
required /n /n /n - BCLS from American Heart/n Association or
American Red Cross – required /n - Graduate from a AMA Radiologic/n
Technologist Program – required /n /n - Venipuncture/n certificate
– preferred /n - AA/n or BS – preferred /n - At/n least 1 year of
MRI experience – preferred /n - Siemens experience – preferred /n -
Ability to adapt to advancements and/n changing technologies /n -
Ability to identify contraindications for/n exams /n - Excellent
communication, interpersonal/n and independent decision-making
skills /n - Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX/n codes) /n -
Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology /n - Strong attention to
detail and/n multi-tasking abilities /n - You/n will be required to
rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health /n
