-with-us We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior
Manager, Strategic Finance to grow our finance team. Our finance
team supports growth and drives profitability by providing
analytics and insights that support decision making across our
commercial teams. We are looking for a strategic thinker who is
excited about solving complex problems, unlocking the power of
data, and enabling teams to make data-driven decisions throughout
the organization. In this role, you will be a critical business
partner, working cross-functionally to leverage financial insights,
advanced data analysis, and keen business acumen to deliver
exceptional results. You will support in preparing the annual
budget and monthly forecasting processes, analyzing financial
performance, and developing sophisticated models to support
strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is an
analytically-minded thinker with extensive experience in financial
planning and analysis and/or strategic planning, preferably within
the Beauty or CPG industries, and a proven track record of
cross-functional collaboration. What You'll Do: Assist in the
preparation of the annual operating plan and monthly forecasting
processes, including the consolidation and in-depth analysis of
financial and other performance data. Prepare and analyze recurring
financial reporting and performance dashboards across e-commerce
and retail channels, providing deep insights into key performance
drivers, identifying risks, and uncovering strategic opportunities.
Monitor financial performance vs. plan and help uncover insights
behind variances Develop financial models to support business
initiatives, such as new product launches, pricing & FX analyses,
and setting and tracking key KPIs. Analyze and interpret financial
and operational data to identify trends, variances, and significant
opportunities for improvement, helping translate data into
actionable business strategies. Build an in-depth understanding of
where the business is today and where it is trending in the future.
Partner with functional leaders, including Sales, Marketing, and
Operations, to provide strategic financial guidance and analytical
support for their initiatives. Drive continuous improvement and
innovation of FP&A processes, systems, and tools to enhance
efficiency, accuracy, and scalability, including integration of
financial planning systems and processes into our parent company.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting,
supporting month-end close activities and coordination with
Accounting as applicable What You'll Bring: A Bachelor's degree in
Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA is preferred. 6-8
years of progressive experience in strategic finance, financial
planning and analysis, investment banking or accounting Extensive
experience with e-commerce or DTC businesses is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and advanced financial reporting
principles. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and
problem-solving skills Expert-level proficiency in financial
modeling and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning
software and ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus. Ability to
communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial
stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage
multiple priorities Other Details For Consideration: Location of
position: Los Angeles, CA Hybrid schedule : Must be willing to work
at least 3 days a week in office Budgeted Compensation : $110K-
$130K The base salary range for this role is listed above. Total
compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance
bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.’s annual bonus program, employees
are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company
performance exceeds defined goals. In addition, e.l.f. provides a
variety of other benefits to employees, including medical, dental,
and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, gender neutral
parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. The amount of total
compensation (including base salary) offered will be based on a
wide range of factors, including geographic location, experience,
specific skills, and qualifications. Compensation components are
