Senior Associate - Operations Transformation & Digital Strategy

Amgen is seeking a Business Performance Senior Associate to support
the Operations Transformation & Digital Strategy (OT&DS) team
in driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and
strategic portfolio execution across Amgen's global Operations
network.As part of the OT&DS Portfolio Strategy team, you will
work cross-functionally to refine financial and operational
improvement opportunities, connect collaborators across working
teams, and help track the progress of key initiatives and
performance indicators. This role is ideal for an early-career
professional eager to contribute to transformational work in a
fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key
Responsibilities:Strategic Support & Opportunity Refinement:
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and refining opportunities
that drive operational and financial improvement.
- Conduct data analysis to support the development of business
cases and the quantification of initiative impact.
- Support preparation of materials that communicate improvement
opportunities and financial implications to leadership.Stakeholder
Engagement & Operational Connectivity:
- Help connect cross-functional working teams by coordinating
communications and maintaining alignment on initiative goals and
deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between OT&DS and functional team members
(e.g., DTI, OSBR, Finance, Site Operations).
- Collaborate on the development of content for governance forums
and workstream updates.Project and KPI Tracking:
- Support development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators
(KPIs) to monitor progress and value realization from key
projects.
- Assist in maintaining project trackers and dashboards to report
status, risks, and outcomes.
- Partner with initiative leads and functional partners to ensure
data quality and timeline adherence.Continuous Improvement &
Innovation
- Contribute to CI 2.0 efforts to reinvigorate continuous
improvement culture across Amgen Operations.
- Stay current on digital tools and methodologies that support CI
and transformation.
- Participate in efforts to pilot and scale digital solutions
that enhance portfolio and performance tracking.What we expect of

with these qualifications.Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree OR
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of business, engineering, life
sciences or related subject area experience OR
- Associate's degree and 6 years of business, engineering, life
sciences or related subject area experience OR
- High school diploma / GED and 8 years of business, engineering,
life sciences or related subject area experiencePreferred
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a corporate or consulting
environment, preferably in operations, strategy, or transformation
functions.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights from
financial and operational data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization
tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Clear and concise communication skills-both written and
verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in
cross-functional teams.
- Interest or experience in continuous improvement methodologies
(Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.What you can expect of usAs we

salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is
posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including
but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and
