Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.Sand allied military capabilities with advanced technologyBy bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and soldAnduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control centerAs the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not yearsSummary about the job: Join our growing Accounting team with this newly created Billing Specialist roleThis role will support our government and commerical contracts for timely billing, reporting and collection of these contractsIf you want to be part of a growing team, then this is the role for youWhat You'll Do:--- Prepares, processes, and submits invoices to customers using government portals and other methods as required by the contract and customer.--- Maintains a billing schedule and forecast to ensure that contracts are billed timely.--- Develops and maintains receivable aging report for past due accounts and responsible for investigation, analysis, escalation, and resolution to ensure timely payment.--- Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports on a monthly basis.--- Responsible for cash collection forecast and ad hoc reporting of billing and collection efforts.--- Assists with month end close reconciliations.--- Implement and maintain a process to split allowable vsunallowable costs based on the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidance.--- Establish systems to streamline the government accounting process for travel and other expenses associated with government contracts.--- Assist in the review of all expenses associated with projects and determine if they are reasonable in nature and follow all government accounting guidelines.--- Play an active role in government audits and maintain accountability records.--- Prepare a variety of reports relative to unallowable and allowable spend.--- Create and accurately code invoices aligned with company practicesHere's Who You Are:--- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred--- 2+ years of accounting experience--- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, queries/macros, pivot tables, etc.)--- Experience with financial accounting systems (Oracle, NetSuite)--- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail--- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines--- On-site in Costa Mesa, CA US Salary Range $70,000 - $105,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary onlyActual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerationsHighly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers;
