Cost Accountant supports our operations team to drive results. This position will lead the Plant accounting initiatives, budgets and protocols. Total compensation package being offered will likely be in the $90K - $100K + Bonus + an excellent benefits package. Background: --- Degreed, several years of accounting experience w/emphasis on cost --- Participates in month-end and year-end closing for assigned areas --- Help support Operations through partnering and preparation of timely detailed analytical reports regarding costs, spend and variances. --- Responsible for all cost accounting arenas including standard cost roll, multi-level bills of materials, direct and indirect labor, overhead rates and absorption, product cost development. --- This individual will be part of a fast-moving, close-nit manufacturing environment and will partner with operations, finance, supply chain, quality, manufacturing and senior leadership --- Participating in audits; providing information to external auditors --- Knowledge of ERP system - SAP by Design, Oracle, Sage or similar
