Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual

spend over 50% of their time on these duties.Directs the
organization's general accounting functions for the entire fiscal
cycle. Establishes accounting policies, procedures and processes in
accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, proper
controls and the requirements of funding source contracts.Directs
financial reporting and analysis to meet organizational needs
including internal and external GAAP reporting, cash flow reporting
and projection, regulatory reporting requirements, and IRS form 990
and other tax schedules.Directs the preparation and successful
execution of all finance and accounting-related audits. Directs the
planning and preparation for the organization's annual
audit.Support an ongoing budgeting process; provides budgeting
advice and guidance to senior management; and designs and
implements systems to manage and control expenditures.Establishes
and strengthens working relationships with banks and other
financial institutions to ensure the organization to ensure
effective business and banking collaboration.Champions and directs
the process quality improvement initiative for all finance and
accounting-related functions.Directs the establishment of and
compliance with appropriate systems of financial internal controls,
including OMB circular financial standards.ADDITIONAL DUTIESKeeps
abreast of current trends and best practices in the non-profit
financial and accounting environment. Other duties and special
projects as assigned.Responsible for the overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of direct reports; may supervise 3-4
staff positionsCarries out supervisory responsibilities in
accordance with the organization's policies andSUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIESapplicable laws, including interviewing, hiring,
and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work;
appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.EDUCATION &
EXPERIENCE4+ years of managerial, supervisory experience.6 years of
experience with financial systems in positions of increasing scope
and authority.Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business
requiredMaster's degree in finance, accounting, or business
preferredOTHER QUALIFICATIONSExcellent experience with process
quality improvementExcellent experience with project
managementExcels at working in a collaborative environmentPosition
may require some travelAbility to work without supervisionAbility
to handle confidential informationMaintains privacy, including
protecting the confidentiality, safeguarding the integrity and
availability, and limiting the use and disclosure of information to
authorized individuals and entitiesParticipates in, conducts, and
sustains performance quality improvement activities according to
designated role and responsibilities.Sensitivity to service
population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Excellent
verbal and written communication skills.Punctual and dependable

participates fully in carrying out its mission.Certified Public
