This position is offered as a a short-term contract opportunity, this Bookkeeper position will be based in the Westlake Village, California area.Major responsibilities:- Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions- Examine payments received and record deposits- Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures- Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information- Maintain and balance general ledger- Balance accounts by reconciling entries- Maintain quality historical records by filing documents
