Job Description:

Bilingual Tax/Accounting and Investment Manager (44780-6) is seeking a position of Tax /Accounting and Investment manager.

The Tax/Accounting and Investment manager is a position responsible for completing Tax & Accounting operations including support of investment opportunities.

Additionally, this person is required to ensure adherence to department and company policies, meeting deliverables deadlines, and handling miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

--- The Tax/Accounting and Investment manager is required to cover the following duties and responsibilities.

1. Tax

a. Corporation Tax Return including extension and estimate payment

b. Partnership Tax Return including extension and estimate payment

c. Other Tax-Related Returns

d. Other Tax-related duties

2. Accounting

a. Recording transactions on the accounting system

b. Cash disbursements

c. Month-end adjustment entries as necessary

d. Monthly Bank Reconciliation

e. Monthly, Quarterly Financial Analysis & Report to Tokyo HQ

f. Tax Provision

g. Quarterly financial reporting packages

h. External Audit Procedures (Agreed-upon), Internal Audit Procedures

i. Other Accounting-related duties

3. Support of investment opportunities

a. Industry/Market Research, preparing Reports

b. Developing new investment opportunities by attending related conferences

c. Perform financial and operational analysis of potential targets

d. Other duties as assigned

--- To complete the essential duties and responsibilities as above, the following procedures are required.

--- Instruction to the external partner (Tax/Accounting service provider)(*1)

--- Financial and operational analysis based on communication with affiliate companies.
