Job Description:

Our activewear company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team for a 3-6 month contract role. The ideal candidate will be an experienced accountant who is knowledgeable in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements and providing support for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial processes and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and providing insights to management.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
