Someone who is hungry for knowledge and enjoys wearing multiple hats and taking on new responsibilities as needed. This position will prepare and maintain the company's financial records and ensure that accounting records are in accordance with GAAP and company policies. Collaborate with the accounting manager to maintain the revenue structure of the company. Key responsibilities include month end close, journal entries, intercompany and customer billing, and account reconciliations.What You Will Be DoingSupport operations for the General Ledger and monthly close processPrepare month end journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist with all accounting functionsReview and interpret contracts for proper billing terms and assist in aspects of the revenue processPrepare intercompany transactions/billing, accruals and schedulesBilling of customer invoicesRespond to ad-hoc information requests and assist with auditsEnsure accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with GAAP and the company's accounting policiesCollaborate with management in process improvements, system enhancement initiatives and maintaining strong internal controlsWhat You Will Bring To The TeamBachelor's degree in accounting or finance3+ years of experience as an accounting professionalKnowledge of general ledger and US GAAP requiredExperience working in cloud finance systems (Workday preferred)Strong analytical skills essentialStrong PC skills requiredA self- starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize workflowStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentThis is NOT a remote position.
