Lean Six Sigma, supporting Optum Financial & Optum Bank, you'll
work with one of the top teams in the business and find yourself
directly improving consumer health outcomes at the intersection of
consumer health and individual wealth.This is a complex,
fast-paced, matrixed environment with a lot of moving parts. The Sr
Manager Lean Six Sigma will leverage their expertise to obtain the
maximum value on a variety of performance and process improvement
projects. They will be responsible to concurrently manage a
portfolio of multiple large to medium to small size improvement
projects.--As an individual contributor, you'll be responsible for
delivering Lean and Six Sigma projects that provide exceptional
business value to the organization and improve the customer
experience. As a manager of the project portfolio, you'll be
responsible for building a project cadre of operational excellence
green belts, motivating them to achieve a high level of
performance, and tracking their project value attainment.If you are
located in Eden Prairie MN, Draper, UT or Tampa, FL, you will have
the flexibility to work remotely*, as well as work in the office as
you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver Lean and Six Sigma projects that provide exceptional
business value to the organization and improve the customer
experience
- Manage the Operational Excellence project portfolio
- Achieve Lean Six Sigma project values of 10X
- Build the operational excellence green belt project cadre,
training them to achieve project value attainment of 5X,
minimum
- Diagnose ongoing process improvement opportunities and develop
solutions using principles of process excellence and related
tools
- Lead other project implementation and process improvement
activitiesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree OR equivalent years of experience
- Six Sigma, Black Belt, or Lean certification--
- 3+ years of applicable experience delivering business
improvement projects
- 2+ years of project management tracking/reporting experience
for a large portfolio of projects
- Experience leading CI projects incorporating Lean, Agile and
Six Sigma methodologiesPreferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Health Care or
related field
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification
- 5+ years of applicable experience managing and administering
performance improvement projects in accordance with Six Sigma
philosophies and principles within the service industry
- 2+ years of experience in complex call center operations and/or
claims processing operations
- 2+ years of experience in business/financial analysis or the
banking industry
- Experience with ISO 9001--
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively, drive results with
sense of urgency, provide value at the speed of external customer
demand
- Proven ability to deliver significant results at 10XCareers
