Job Description:
Busy Hollywood based TV Production company seeks a Senior
Accountant to join our accounting team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries to allow for period end closes
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Bank reconciliations
Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
Prepare schedules and provide required information for annual
financial audit
Corporate A/P invoice entry and check issuance
Issue 1099's
Prepare client billings and assist with collections
Assist with cash flow schedules
Initiate bank transfers and wires
Requirements:
3-5 years of progressive experience in Corporate Accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Public accounting experience preferred, CPA preferred
Prior entertainment experience required. Production accounting
experience a strong plus.
Intermediate Excel and Word skills
Strong communication skills, including the ability to present
issues clearly and concisely.
