Job Description:

We are a growing company looking for someone who wants learn by assisting the owner with their clients. We are a small company who believe in helping our employees learn and grow. If you have experience with managing multiple companies' books by collecting data from clients, reconciling bank statements, and running payroll, but you want to do more then come work for us. We are looking to train someone to become a tax preparer for our growing client base. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports for multiple companies
  • Process payroll, payroll deposits and payroll reports for multiple companies
  • Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
  • Create new processes to improve efficiency
  • Report analysis and findings to management teamQualifications:
    • 2-4 years previous experience in tax/accounting or other related fields
    • Experience with Lacerte and QuickBooks (desktop and QBO) programs and reporting tools
    • Detail and deadline-oriented
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • A people person with good communications skills
    • An interest in growing your responsibilities through client developmentEducation:
      • Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:
        • Tax Experience: 0-3 years
        • Bookkeeping Experience 2-4 years
        • Payroll Experience 1-3 yearsLicense/Certification:
          • Enrolled Agent certification (Preferred)
          • CTEC license (Preferred)
