Successful execution will ensure high earnings with a compensation plan designed to reward overachievers to 300% of plan.Overall Purpose: This Specialty Sales Seller sales position is responsible for selling complex/technical products, services, applications, and/or solutions to customers in order to solve their strategic business needs. Read on.Key Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for selling technical products/services/applications/solutions, generating sales and partnering with direct sellers by leveraging product, industry, and/or technology expertise. Responsible for identifying voice transformation opportunities, building a funnel and closing deals with the support of the direct sales and technical sales team. Spends majority of the time engaging clients virtually and once the pandemic lifts at the customers premise, developing and presenting sales proposals and systems solutions for projects of low to moderate complexity. Partners with direct sellers to close sales. As a Sr. ASE1, you will take lead in identifying new opportunities. As an ASE 1 - VT, key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Meeting monthly new sales revenue targets that grows our business across Tier 2/Tier3 accounts assigned to you and consistently meet monthly new sales revenue targets
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Contact Center and Collaboration, consulting with direct seller teams and customers to provide technical expertise regarding the design, customization, implementation and account management of highly complex Voice Contact Center products/services/applications/solutions
    • As a Subject Matter Expert, you will advise customers on suitability of products based on technical needs
    • All phases of the sales lifecycle including Design, Price, Propose and Contract
      • Specifically, responsibilities will involve but not limited to, preparing proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing for highly complex contact center solutions
      • Develop strategic sales execution plans related to the customer and the proposed solution/sale
      • Research and develop contact center solutions with AT&T Product, AT&T ICB Finance and external vendor partners, including design and engineering
      • Engage and coordinate the sales and/or technical sales consultant team in support of the sale of highly complex collaboration and contact center products and services to your assigned base of customers
      • Knowledge of foundational AT&T company products and services such a network, toll-free, SD-WAN, BVoIP, Internet and AVPN a plusThese complex products/services are a priority for the company and the VTES org as we aim to deliver on our strategic growth objectives for 2021. As such this role requires specific focus and expertise. This role may involve travel post pandemic and may require spending time at the customer premise developing and presenting sales proposals and systems solutionsKey Skills/Experience in one of the following areas is desired:
        • Current experience as an acquisition hunter with new business development sales skills.
        • Strategic and Consultative Sales Skills with experience in following solution areas
          • Industry leading Hosted/Cloud Voice Solutions - Cisco Webex Calling, Ring Central, 8x8, Avaya, Mitel, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
          • Cloud Collaboration and Conferencing - Cisco Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams
          • Contact Center - Five9, Genesys, Avaya, Nice InContact, Inference, Salesforce
          • Experience selling solutions for the following companies a plus: Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams, Amazon Web Services, Intelepeer, Twilio, Ribbon, AudioCodes
          • Must possess innate ability to drive engagement through all stages of the Integrated Solution Sales Lifecycle - Design, Price, Propose, Contract, Close
          • Vertical Sales experience in IT Solutions Selling to any of the following industry verticals is a plus: Retail, Manufacturing, Finance, Healthcare, Transportation/Logistics, Consumer Packaged Goods, etc.Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience: Requires 2-5 years of direct work experience in the contact center, collaboration or cloud space.Supervisory: No - provided by Dice
