POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The A/R Reporting Analyst is responsible for producing timely and accurate reports, ensuring data integrity across systems and completing special projects for the Client Billing/Accounts Receivable department. This position will have exposure to all levels of personnel including top management at PIMCO.
Duties and Responsibilities:

* Generate monthly New Accounts Report (NAR) in MS Excel by gathering data through various internal systems, interpreting legal documentation and investment management contracts, corresponding with various areas within PIMCO and organizing data for reporting

* Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with all global PIMCO Legal teams, Account Management, consultants, clients, and back office to resolve

* Ensure data integrity through audit of systems against Investment Management contracts

* Assist in the review of fee schedule drafts from the PIMCO Legal teams, tracking their progress to execution

* Use advanced formulas in MS Excel to create reports

* Research and determine appropriate coding for internal database

* Document projects/procedures

* Analysis of client data and reports as requested by Management and Auditors

* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports for various PIMCO teams

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail

* Advanced technical skills, specifically MS Excel, Access and Outlook

* 4 years relevant reporting experience in the investment management or financial services industry, A/R and/or Accounting

* Knowledge and understanding of performance fee billing

* Experience in reviewing contracts and/or legal documentation is a plus

* Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, flexible and possess a positive attitude

* Must possess intellectual curiosity, as well as strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to effectively problem solve

* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

* Ability to effectively interface with all levels of staff and management and maintain good working relationships with internal and external contacts

* Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and demanding environment, which includes handling multiple tasks and challenging deadlines

* Demonstrate ownership over all tasks, duties and responsibilities and see them through to successful completion in a timely manner

* Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision

* Must be highly reliable
