to life.The Demand Planner is a member of the Demand Planning
Organization and oversees the development, maintenance, and
analysis of the finished goods forecast.----The Demand Planner
reports to the Demand Planning Manager.--Key
Responsibilities--Critical contributions this role is counted on to
deliver include:--Maintains current and long-term forecasts
required to drive production and inventory planning requirements
and to provide projections for corporate cash flow analysis.--Uses
and designs forecast reporting and analysis tools for all phases of
the forecast process.--Diagnoses problems in the forecast by
assessing the impact of variances of forecasted items and makes
appropriate forecast adjustments.--Analyzes historical data and
market intelligence to develop and improve the forecast.-- Has a
solid understanding of all data and its relationship to the
forecast (demand, shipments, POS, base/incremental
split).--Interfaces with Sales, Marketing, Customer Marketing, and
Pharmavite customers to incorporate all aspects of market
intelligence into the forecasting environment.-- Maintains an
excellent level of communication and collaboration.--Strives to
improve Pharmavite performance in areas such as forecast accuracy,
fill rate, and other defined metrics.--Communicates closely with
Supply Planning to help ensure product availability and
efficiency.--Provides all levels of the company with updates of
forecast information, including ongoing analysis and interpretation
of data.-- Presents information verbally, as well as in written
reports.--Interfaces with Information Systems to ensure the
continuous development and enhancement of the forecast process,
designing new reporting requirements and troubleshooting existing
reports.--Performs other related duties as assigned.--Ideal
Candidate The ideal candidate is collaborative with cross
functional partners and is able to influence the outcome for the
most accurate demand signal into the supply chain. You feel
comfortable presenting to any level of manager.----The ideal
candidate is curious; you want to know why demand is changing,
applying consumer behavior for the best demand forecast. You are a
problem solver, driving for root cause of an issue to improve
demand planning metrics, and ultimately fill rate for the
company.----Critical Success Factors--You ll be most successful in
this role if you have:--Working knowledge of supply chain planning
and manufacturing to influence an accurate demand plan for the
supply chain.------Experience in problem solving, finding root
cause of forecast errors, and drives for resolution to improve
metrics.-- A bonus if you have training and working knowledge in
Lean Continuous Improvement.----Analytical skills that can be used
to solve a problem or situation and be able to communicate to a
variety of levels in the organization.----Capabilities & Skills
Required--In order to take on these challenges, you ll need to
have:--4 year college degree required or equivalent work history.2
to 5 years experience in forecasting, analysis, reporting, sales
finance, or statistics.--Thorough understanding of forecasting
techniques/applications, insight into the financial and operational
implications inherent in supply chain decision making.--Strong
computer skills, including advanced capability in Microsoft Excel
are preferred.------Experience with OLAP reporting tools such as
Microstrategy, Business Objects, or Microsoft Access is
preferred.--Strong analytical, decision making, organizational,
presentation and human relations skills.--Detail-oriented and
accurate; work independently.Experience with the retail marketplace
and working with Sales and Marketing is preferred.------Familiarity
with shipment, order, and POS data is preferred.--Shows leadership
and initiative.--CPG experience preferred.----OUR OFFERHere, career

represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role,
plus annual incentive.
