POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sr. Marketplace Analyst will be responsible for monitoring
traffic, trends, building meaningful reports, and identifying
problematic areas relating to quality and pricing of traffic:
- BidSystem Alerts: The BidSystem platform occasionally generates
alerts due to quality, pricing or traffic volume anomalies. Part of
the Sr. Marketplace Analyst’s responsibility is to respond to these
alerts and take corrective action
- Fraud Issues: In occasions where fraud is reported on our
system, the Sr. Marketplace Analyst is responsible for a thorough
analysis on the methodology of fraud, confirmation that it is
fraud, and any corrective action that may result
- Pricing Issues: In some cases, traffic pricing may not be
optimal. Sr. Marketplace Analyst must be able to analyze near term
data to re-price traffic correctly
- Quality Improvements: The Sr. Marketplace Analyst, through the
course of their work, should be able to identify areas of
improvement within our pricing mechanisms
- Advertiser Attrition: Sr. Marketplace Analysts will also be
responsible for monitoring and reducing the rate of advertiser
attrition
- Leadership: The Sr. Marketplace Analyst is expected to play a
leadership role in supporting the marketplace, researching
improvements, and driving product features
CANDIDATE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will have the following
qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in an analyst role within an Internet
marketplace
- Strong skills in math, logic and problem solving
- Proficient with Excel (pivot tables and graphing), Word and
Powerpoint
- Scripting language ability a plus
