Job Description:
Looking for senior level RAN engineer to support market-wide performance/Triage of ATT wireless networks (Ericsson-GSM/UMTS/LTE) in the Los Angeles market. This position requires independent thinking and initiative. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize as well as provide analysis reports. Highly advanced RAN Engineer recognized as a Subject Matter Expert(SME) with knowledge of Ericsson RAN Engineering and most advanced problem resolution. Responsibilities include in-depth network investigation to determine root cause problem and drive it to resolution. This person must be experienced in voice and data performance optimization with particular proficiency in the Ericsson UMTS/LTE Network
Candidate must have knowledge of UMTS/LTE Air interface and eRAN procedures, functionalities and algorithms. Need quick learner to pick up LTE eRAN, without any downtime in deliverables on LTE. Expert Skills in Ericsson OSS, Business objects, COPS, and intermediate skills in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, is required.
BSEE and 10 + years relevant working experience in the mobility industry.
Must have in-depth work experience with optimization/post-processing on Ericsson GSM/UMTS/ LTE voice and data networks; Must have extensive working experience with RF performance management tools to include OSS, Business objects, COPS, etc; Working experience with special event configuration change/monitoring is a plus. Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills are required; Ability to present ideas and guidelines in an effective manner to both internal and external functional groups; Must be a team player who can also serve as a mentor to less experienced engineers.
