Job Description:

This posting covers multiple openings for the position described.

Duties: Perform analysis, design and customization of ikaSystems Providers

and Claims application modules, and integrate applications into clients’ IT

systems in Oracle 10g and Oracle XML environments. Analyze user

requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve

existing computer network system. Gain necessary input/approval of

requirements and system design, and participate in code reviews. Ensure

that developed applications meet system requirements by conferring with

organizational units to analyze current operation procedures, identify

problems, and learn specific input and output requirements. Import and

export data between SQL Server and various file structures. Develop .NET

custom/user defined components, design and develop web pages, and produce

code that implements system requirements. Create web services that

interact with client systems, and develop web applications using ASP.NET

and C#. Write complex stored procedures/functions using SQL, and write and

tune SQL statements and PL/SQL scripts. Create Style sheets/skins/Themes

and XSLT of the site and maintain user profiles/preferences and customizing

the content based on business rules with scalable and maintainable code

that will work across multiple browsers. Develop dynamic Web applications

and Web controls using JavaScript, JQuery, HTML and CSS and writes scalable

and maintainable code that will work across multiple browsers with browser

degradation strategies. Create ad-hoc and custom reports, and setup and

utilize Team Foundation Service (TFS) to manage and track code. Perform all

levels of designing, coding, testing and debugging across multiple

environments. Support overall ikaSystems engineering efforts by ensuring

adherence to technical conventions and department policies and procedures.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics,

Telecommunications, Communications, Computer Science, Technology, or

Mathematics (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well as

three (3) years experience in Job Offered or three (3) years of experience

developing web applications using ORACLE. Or, alternatively, a Master's

degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Communications,

Computer Science, Technology, or Mathematics (willing to accept foreign

education equivalent) as well as one (1) year experience in Job Offered or

one (1) year of experience developing web applications using ORACLE. Also

requires experience with: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) in the analysis,

design, development, maintenance and enhancement of applications using

Microsoft .NET Technologies including Web Services, AJAX, JavaScript, and

JQuery; DE performing analysis, design, implementation and debugging of web

applications within a .NET Framework using C# and ASP.NET; DE creating SQL

Packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers and views using PL/SQL/T-

SQL and performance tuning and optimization of complex SQL queries using

database Table joins and data extraction in Oracle and MS SQL Server; and

DE preparing web pages Technical Design Documents for illustrating page

flow, functionality, template design and Processing Conditions.
