- An opportunity to love what you do About The Team: - We are
looking for an HR Director who is responsible for creating,
implementing, and executing the human resource (HR) strategy for
the assigned client group. This individual will provide strategic
advice, direction, guidance, and coaching to executives within the
business on HR issues and employee-related policies. In addition,
this individual will deliver HR initiatives, products, and services
in collaboration with other HR professionals throughout the
Company. - Key Responsibilities: -
- Reports to and assists business unit leader and HR Vice
President of assigned client group with implementing the business
and HR strategic plans, practices, and procedures.
- Acts as a strategic business partner, broker/liaison between
the assigned business unit and Corporate HR Centers of Expertise to
accomplish business goals.
- Leads a team of HR Professionals to accomplish the
following:
- Oversee the implementation and compliance of Company policies
and federal, state, and local employment laws for the assigned
client group.
- Provide guidance, direction, training, and coaching to
management and leadership on matters of employee relations and
employment law.
- Manage the talent life cycle. Collaborate with leaders and
managers on workforce planning, organization design, and staffing
requirements. Coach leaders and managers on candidate selection and
execute recruiting programs that attract and retain talent.
- Oversee the onboarding process that includes employee
orientation and training on HR policies, company expectations, and
business policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Manage performance management process and systems; train
managers in conducting relevant and fair employee appraisals;
retain appropriate records.
- Coordinate succession planning and leadership development
programs.
- Work with leaders and managers to develop and maintain updated
job descriptions. Partner with the Compensation team to provide
guidance on appropriate hiring pay rates. Assist business unit or
functional leader in managing the annual pay and incentive
processes, including budgeting.
- Ensure all personnel records and related documents are
maintained in accordance with Company and legal requirements.
- Understand human capital data and utilize data analytics to
optimize decision making within Corporate or the Business Unit.
Minimum Knowledge, Qualifications and Education Requirements: -
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related
field. Advanced degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years of demonstrated
knowledge of federal and state employment law for assigned
locations.
- HR Certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or
similar).
- Demonstrated ability to apply advanced knowledge of HR
principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an
emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
- Superior organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated
ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical
developments related to the applicable area of the Company's
business to proactively respond to changing business
environment.
- Advanced proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office
package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
